Martha Stewart recently unveiled her PETS collection, sold exclusively through PetSmart. I tend to swoon over anything Martha Stewart creates and I love her simple, yet chic style. The designs are functional and fun and feature her signature blue.

Another amazing artist I crossed paths with while at ASU is Brent Adrian. He creates beautiful, up-close paintings of different varieties of animal flesh. The compositions are cropped so the larger forms are often unknown. We are left to examine the detailed textures: the softness of feathers, the slime of fat, and the wrinkles of skin. If you have an opportunity to see his paintings in person, I strongly encourage it. The delicately built-up layers are a joy to see.
The second Apple store in Paris opened earlier this month, and I can’t help but swoon. The distinctly sleek brand took over a distinctly Parisian former bank building directly facing the Opéra national de Paris. I’m so glad they kept the original architecture; it is charming and definitely makes an impact. Just another reason to love the city of light.
