Um, seriously? These cardboard sculptures by Daniel Agdag are unbelievable! Tiny and intricate details, hauntingly lit, and mesmerizing to look at. I am so impressed. I especially love the shots of the artist working; it really puts the delicacy of the work into perspective.

All I’ve been watching are singing competition shows. The Voice keeps growing on me and this season there are a handful of really unique and talented singers. These are my five favorites. I love Melanie Martinez; she’s so different and reminds me of a cartoon character. I’ve already bought songs from all five of them and I hope they all make it really far!

Last season about this time I posted my top 5 X-Factor picks. Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik made it to the very end, but lost to Melanie Amaro. This season, I’m putting all my money on Carly Rose Sonenclar. However, I’d still be ok with any of these other 4 making it to the end with her.

I’m not a huge sports fan, but I do want to take a minute to gloat about my victory in our Eliminator Challenge for the second year in a row! I’m the only one left who hasn’t missed a pick yet. While I hope to go many more weeks of pick ’em success, I’m very content with this win!
