BHLDN

Today Tiffany showed me BHLDN, Anthropologie’s new wedding line. The wedding gowns are gorgeous, albeit expensive, the bridal party dresses are whimsical and fun and the hairpieces are stunning. I would have loved to choose from one of these had we arranged a larger wedding (and had a larger budget). Simply beautiful!

Wedding of the Year

This weekend we finally got Steve and Vanessa’s wedding invitations printed and the website up and running. Because much of their family and friends are spread across the west coast, they are celebrating in Phoenix in March and in San Francisco in April. Helping out with their invites and website was a blast and I can’t wait to start the festivities!

Bridesmaid Dresses

Steve and Vanessa are getting married in March. It seems like a ways away, but I know time will fly and it will be here any day now. As part of the preparations, I need to decide on a bridesmaid dress. The bridal party is choosing from the J. Crew bridesmaid collection in aluminum and pairing the dresses with fun, colorful shoes. I’ve narrowed it down to these three, but I’m still having trouble deciding. I think their wedding is going to be so fun and personal and I’m really excited for it!

Save the Dates

My big brother is getting married in March. He and Vanessa are having a sweet, backyard wedding that will feature charming aspects from each of their personalities. They recently took a trip to Tucson, where they both went to college, to have engagement photos taken. The photos are absolutely beautiful, taken by their friend Andrew Westover. My contribution to this event, so far, is their save the dates. They want to keep the vibe fun and simple, and I think everyone will be looking forward to sharing their special day with them.

Wedding Books

Crossing off another item on my 26 before 26 list, #26: Create wedding books for my parents and in-laws.

For two years, I’ve been meaning to make a wedding scrapbook of some sort for my parents and Clay’s parents. Scrapbooks can sometimes look cheesy or too craftsy, so I decided to use Apple’s iPhoto printing services. It’s quick, easy, and looks great. I’ll be sending these out this weekend and I hope they like them!
