It’s been a week since we adopted our dog Boomer from the Humane Society. She’s starting to feel comfortable in our house and we love having her here. She needs some obedience training, but is such a sweetheart. Boomer is half whippet, half rat terrier and very fast!

I just read that the European Union is attempting to phase out the traditional incandescent lightbulb, in favor of energy saving CFL and halogen bulbs.
